2nd grader - pretty high strung, has a lot of anxiety and issues with frustration and this pandemic has been really hard on him. He does well at his school who seem to understand him, and has been happier since he went back. Got an offer to a school we've always wanted him to go to but would mean switching him suddenly now and am concerned for the mental impact. Would you do it for the sake of the future and hope they adapt? or no?
no- it will cause him more anxiety to switch. are both of these schools in person? seems like he needs it
both are hybrid. current slightly more in person. but other school is better school that we are lucky to be offered a place in.
Is this the LREI/Lower Lab question from a couple days ago? Or are there just a lot of schools making off-year offers right now because of Covid attrition?
Need to give us a little more info. Are these both private schools? Or are you switching from one to the other?
Why would you change if you’re happy where he is?
Do you have other DCs who would be positively or negatively impacted by sibling status?
