No. Ours will only close by order of the governor or if the school feels like their is in school community spread. They have been clear from the beginning that the 3% isn't something they are beholden too and they will not close just because the city reaches 3%.
Our school hasn't said anything about the 3% reference point. I think they want to keep options open and use their own metrics. However, with so much talk about public schools maybe closing on short notice, I do wish that our school would tell parents something, so that we aren't just wondering if school might close abruptly.
Yes, this is what our school is saying, though they added weekly testing for all students and teachers to try to stay ahead of things, so I'm inclined to think they will not close at 3%.
No. Originally we were supposed to close at 3%, but I think parents pushed and it really doesn’t make sense to follow it for our school. It’s a small school and hasn’t had any Covid cases
I sure hope not.
They haven't said either way, but they don't have to. I heard another school say "we follow DOH not DOE"
Ours said they would but they got a lot of push back last week to reconsider, small school and no cases there so far.

I'm getting more and more annoyed that ours won't say anything.
