LREI spent two months promising - "if Cuomo lets us, we will open the lower school 5 days a week."
Today they sent an email - everyone virtual until Oct 6, with a list of bullshit reasons.
I am outraged. Mine is starting K. They lied and lied to keep our tuition. Of course they won't start live in October either. I just don't believe them anymore.
What are our options here?
Are they offering refunds to families? What were their reasons? Maybe it's taking longer than they thought to implement their plans. I don't think schools will be remote for the entire year. I truly believe your child will be fine. It's the cost that would annoy me.
no, no refunds. I am so angry I cant even use my words. Zoom for a 5 year old for K? Are you fucking kidding me? You're not Trinity, people aren't desperate to stay at any cost to keep their spot
Sorry that is a bummer but I dont think you would find better at many other places they are dropping like flies,
It’s happening all over. Teachers don’t want to come in. Can’t staff the programs.
So fucking say that! It's the lies that get me, the way we are being treated
@Anon123 ITTA. At least the state of New Jersey is honest that they don’t have enough teachers. Add lrei to the list of lying schools: Allen Stevenson, CGPS, who else has gone back on their plan so far?
Sorry, OP. I am afraid it will happen at our school too.
that sucks- now many private schools will be getting less in person days than public schools!!
Maybe, maybe not. Let's see how this all shakes out. I have a feeling there will be a 180 at the last minute with NYC publics. Who knows!
Has Trinity announced?
I'm with you, I would be really angry. I agree it is BS. Someone posted Masters School is going virtual. How can a suburban private school with ample resources and space defend this?...
