Btw I live in D2 and I’m the one asking about BASIS, not all D2 schools are so great. And, Baruch basically eliminated SP for the year at least, not sure about Wagner.
@Anon6247 Serious question: What D2 schools aren't good? I've been toying with the idea of moving crosstown. I know of East side middle, salk, lab, morton...I'd always heard Wagner is good. It can't possible be worse than the crummy D3 schools, which are REALLY bad.
To be fair I said they weren’t all great. Many of them are pretty good/fine, some are great, some I’d rather skip - just my personal opinion - if Baruch no longer has SP I’m not thrilled to send my kid there. Depends on the kid I guess, and your expectations - and as you say, it’s all relative. I also don’t think any of these schools are going to be getting better, I’d expect a decline in quality over the next few years - less $$ fewer resources...
I would put the odds of this happening at 95%. Oh, how I wish I lived in D2!
Push has begun? It’s been happening for a while. I give it days before it’s official.

I live in D2 and I agree with you.
