Agree. Our kids have been 1-2 days in person and I really like having a reason to go back to the city for a few days. It breaks things up having a different place to go to/see.
It would depend on my kids ages and personalities. If kid who is in-person is in lower school, I would come back. If in MS or HS, I would weigh how well they do with remote learning and how much they would benefit mentally from socializing.
Probably. Two days isn't worth staying in the city.
Yup. Without hesitation.
If your weekend house is under a 3-hour drive, I would go to the city for the 2 days. It gives you a chance to hang in the city too.
Agreed. A change of scenery/routine is good in these circumstances. I suppose it also depends if the two days are consecutive or not.

Yes I’d stay in the vacation home. The 2 days in will put you all at risk as well.
