Pre-k to 3rd in person full time in groups of 8-12 kids per teacher. They are working toward same for 4th and 5th but for now, 4th and 5th grades will alternate weeks. 6th-8th in person 4 days a week. 9th-12th will be in person 50% of the time. A and B weeks. On your weeks at home, you will remote into the classroom. So all classes are taught live, but half the time high school students are remoting into the class
Will there be in-class instruction or will the kids be zooming with remote teachers via iPads?
In class
We'll have a similar schedule with younger kids in person, but they'll be accessing a digital curriculum. Someone will be supervising them as they use their devices. Many unhappy parents, so discussions are ongoing.
Which school?
c&c 2 days per week for kids 5-10.
we are at c&c and wish they would get to at least 3 days pw
Dalton will have in person instruction everyday for 1st through 4th.
what about their middle and upper schools?
HM plans to open in person for middle school with several contingency plans, similar to what ECFS is planning. My guess is that it will be on/off until vaccine/treatment is available.
wait, i thought dalton was fully remote? Isn't that what the other thread said?
I heard Trinity and Dalton upper schools will be remote only. Anyone know if that is true?
Not true, Trinity hasn't presented a final plan yet, but they are saying it will probably be some type of hybrid plan for upper school.
ECFS's plan sounds outstanding
CGPS is planning PK-5th in person every day. Rest are a hybrid.
Trevor 100% in person preK-5th, MS and HS classes divided in half (so 6-8 kids in a pod) alternating two weeks in school/two weeks at home learning
Speyer - 100% in-person K-4, middle school (5 - 8) 100% remote
Has trinity announced yet?
Saint Ann's- 1 day/week in the building (though teachers may still be remote) for younger students. All remote for MS/HS.

This remote option for teachers is such BS. Who's going to supervise the kids? Why are those people deemed negligible?
VCS: remote until october and then everybody is back full-time if infection rate stays low. https://www.vcsnyc.org/about-vcs/fall-2020-reopening-plan
