Waiting outside a store is so yesterday. Everyone who wears a mask should get in, unless there’s a fire hazard. At this point, any store that makes shoppers wait outside on line is doing it to control shoplifting and not to control the pandemic.
I waited on line at Mondel's in Morningside Heights for their awesome chocolates, the store is super tiny and the owners are older, as are many customers. I was very happy to spend some money and help support them in exchange for chocolate-covered marshmallows and marzipan, it was no real hardship for me and may have helped keep people safer. A person would have to be incredibly selfish to object to doing that.
I agree when it comes to large supermarkets etc but some nyc stores are super tiny. there is nowhere to stand covid aside

Meh, depends on the size of the store.
