a few weeks ago I went on a sephora spree. skincare & a new foundation. i'm doing so many video calls that I got a key light & now makeup so that I look nice on camera. it feels vain but constantly looking at video of myself in bad lighting was starting to make me feel horrible about myself.
I just bought cleanser, moisturizer and a exfoliant from blue mercury. I have blackheads and I keep picking them for stress relief so I needed to stop.
Someone posted ice cream, but food doesn't count. I guess it's beer or wine for my evening drink on the terrace. No new clothes, no massage, which I miss.
I bought plenty of clothes from Jcrew. The discounts are amazing. Jeans for $16, cashmere sweaters for $36 etc. I need shorts even if I am at home and the sweaters are classics. There will be a post-Covid time When I have to go back to the office.
I've gotten some new clothes, but most of them were things I needed and all were fairly basic. We are doing some home improvements, so that's our biggest indulgence right now.
A way over-the-top, huge, sparkly tiara. My close group of girlfriends and I have a bunch of birthdays clustered together this month and since we can't be in person like we normally are, we decided to have a cocktail party via zoom with a lot of sparkle. I have to say, it was really fun for a zoom cocktail party.
I've gotten books, bras, new kitchen equipment, and nail polish.

Two books from Strand, ordered online today. Have completely stopped buying clothes, shoes and makeup.
The last thing I got was a new pair of leggings....not necessary but something I will get a LOT of good out of.
I ordered some cotton and linen tunics and pants but only to use up store credit that I had from pre-Covid times.

I bought a Royal Albert tea set - we started having tea in the afternoons and it feels nice to use it.

Two pairs of shorts. Though I felt they were pretty necessary. I didn't have much use for casual shorts pre-Covid; now I wear them every day.
