They have written that "they will be contacting people in the coming WEEKS(?!)" about scheduling the 2nd round, which is unprecedented. Someone in the earlier thread mentioned that applications were down 30% year over year (how would you know that)? Will there even be a 2nd round or will they just use the ranking from the 1st round to make offers? If there is a 2nd round will it look the same as in the previous years?

Has anyone heard anything since that first round of notifications a few Fridays ago?
Did anyone hear apart from the group that did on Friday? I wonder if they're doing a big notification once a week?
Do you think they're waiting to notify until after private schools send out acceptances on 2/4, so maybe they have a smaller pool?
I just wish I could understand the rationale behind notifying over a matter of weeks. Either your kid advanced or they didn't, so why is it so staggered?!
Their email said more than 1100 students applied - if you assume it was "around 1100" (but less than 1200, or they would have said that), so people who have the data from past years could make comparisons.
Hunter has not announced anything, but I don't see how they could possibly do the second round the way they have in the past (lots of kids all playing together). They may be trying to do smaller groups, smaller groups outside, or even zoom. Who knows. But clearly they are trying to schedule it over a longer span of days instead of just having a ton of kids all at once.
FWIW, if you haven't heard by now I'd take it as a good sign.
