My 12 year-old is doing 2 weeks of Automatic Studios film camp in DUMBO. It is mostly online, with some socially-distanced, masked studio time. But otherwise, just hanging around staring at a screen. I considered coding or cooking online, but she's pretty tired of Zoom.
The studio film camp sounds fun. All that's going on at our apartment is screen time. Really sad!
Kids want nothing to do with online classes. Lots of screen time, hanging out with friends (outside or socially distanced), lots and lots of facetime calls/ texting.
One word: Fortnite.
