DC is very conservative in his food choices. I can’t say he is picky because he is a healthy eater and likes some ethnic food - sushi, Indian (when not spicy), ramen noodles, French green lentil salad etc. That said, he is very ridged when it comes to trying anything new even if it’s simple foods like pizza (won’t touch with a 10ft pole), sandwich, any of the breakfast foods (French toast, pancakes). He has multiple food allergies (some nuts, egg, shellfish) so eating out is already challenging with these limitations. DH and I love to travel (and so does DS) but with that sometimes come limitations what’s available. ESP when we go off the beaten path. How do I encourage DC to try new foods and eat enough so he is not hungry? He is 6.5y.
