If you want a distracting book, and are in the least bit curious, there is an autobiography of Valerie Bertinelli that is really really in-depth about her marriage to EvH. Don't buy it on Amazon or they'll brand you a plebe! Someone gave the book to me - in my home state which is naturally in California or the South. I read it because the autobiographies of Eric Clapton and Patty Boyd got me through a super-hard time in 2009. Those two books you can purchase on Amazon or the Internets without fear of receiving hubcap resale advertisements for the rest of your life.
Interesting! Do tell! What's the one, two, or three things that really stuck with you? Also, read that his tongue cancer was in the EXACT spot he held copper other metal picks in his mouth, and also was around a lot of electromagnetic energy in the studio. He wondered if this had something to do with the cancer. So sad. The body is so hardy, but also so delicate.

This is terribly embarrassing that I do remember bc it indicates that my brain is otherwise unencumbered, but what struck me most are that 1) he is 1/2 Indonesian 1/2 Dutch 2) Valerie was close friends with the lady who played Daphne on Frasier and I think went to live with her when things got bad with EvH, and 3) poor MacKenzie Phillips.
FWIW he did not treat his body like a temple, so...not buying the energy-copper vector~
So sad.

He's actually a quarter Indonesian -- his mother is/was 1/2 Indonesian, but yes! interesting fact. And ITA on MacKenzie Phillips -- my God.
I'm not buying that theory either, but still very sad.
