We had very limited (next to no) contact with my parents (who live nearby) during the first few months of Covid. Then, when things started to look better we started to see them. We've all been pretty cautious, but seems like this might be a good stopping point. Kind of curious how others are handling this.
yes same for us, but in part because MIL thinks the virus is a hoax and refuses to wear a mask anywhere she goes
We haven't seen family since February and won't until we are vaccinated.
We haven’t seen family since last Christmas, but I don’t understand your rationale for the sudden change or who it extends to. If you felt you and they were safe and within your pod at Thanksgiving, what has now changed in your or their behavior?
We stopped all contact in November. Our daily cases in our state went from like 2, to over 100 daily. Was attributed to small gatherings. Now no one can associate with anyone outside the immediate household. Went into effect Nov 15 and was renewed for another month Jan 15. Vermont mom.
We went twice to my family (in new york state) in the fall. We were going to go for Xmas but have decided not to. It's not practical to fully quarantine and they're very high risk and scared. Hope we can spend Xmas in 2021 with them
