I know I'm lucky to be healthy and all, but Fuuuuuuck. I'm so fucking fat right now. I am now wondering if I should buy a treadmill and put it in my already overcrowded 800 sq ft apt.
No. Get yourself proper running shoes, a sports bra, and a tracker that measures your heartbeat (don't skimp on that) and get out. Why be stuck in an apartment when you want to go running?
Because running with a mask sucks. I insist on having a treadmill- we already did - and am taking fitness class once a week on line and still up 5lbs and feeling disgusting
Central Park is better IMO. That's where I run. My feeling is that people who are concerned with runners not wearing masks, have plenty of room to go elsewhere in the park.
Weight loss is 80% diet. Get your diet under control. Do something sustainable like Whole 30. Get outside and move. 30 pound weight gain is so so so much more dangerous for you than this bitch virus.

You don't need to run with a mask. Go somewhere that's not too crowded, early in the morning. Are you in NYC?
Yes, UES. I live by the East River but it seems always to have many people around...

Why is running the only option? Can you do other exercises at home?
I've tried other things like yoga,
TaeBo, etc, and nothing takes the pounds off as quickly as running.

I sympathize with you. I'm up 10 pounds.
Have you had your thyroid checked? Been to the gyn? 30 lbs seems like a lot to gain in only a few months.
