I recently tried the keto coffee thing and it is DELICIOUS. And I’m not doing a keto diet, just was curious to see how it tastes. So rich and satisfying.
Add one tbsp of coconut oil and one tbsp of ghee or grass fed butter to a cup of coffee; ideally put in a blender or magic bullet to blend until it’s frothy. It sounded disgusting to me but when I tried it it tasted just like a cappuccino!
The idea is that if you are low carb/sugar (i.e. avoiding foods that spike your insulin) you can afford to eat healthy fats without counting calories. That’s the only way you could safely consume this coffee on a regular basis. For me, I just have one cup on the weekends :)
This post reminds me of the old UB! Thanks for the nostalgia.
True. IM would be piping up about now, talking about her coffee in a tin cup or something like that. She was funny.
Right though? I mean I need some routine and some acceptable chemical to get me through this!!!!

I'm on weight watchers and that would cost me like a whole day of points.
