have we had one of these on our new site yet?! Looking to name the younger brother of Tessa and Jack. I love William but there are so many and DH keeps suggesting Arthur. what do you think?
I like Arthur. It's cute. I disagree with poster above that you need to have something to call him "for short"--it's already two syllables, same as Tessa.
I love the name Arthur. Pretty popular in the UK, it's my nephew's name. And I love when you ask him his name, and he says in his lovely, gorgeous voice, "Aaaaa-thugh". The name sounds totally different in the US.
I love it, but I am biased. I also like William, but there are so many little Williams and Liams. Arthur sounds fresher to me (in an old school way). I think it fits in with your other kids' names.
I like William better. To me, Arthur sounds like an elderly man. But thats just me. All that being said, I wasn’t that fond of the name we picked out for my oldest son (he’s named after my deceased father-in-law) at first, but I love it now.
I think William sounds better with the siblings’ names. I know it’s supposed to be very popular, but I have a 5 year old and I don’t know any Williams her age or younger.
I vote William. Arthur is old school and your other children have more modern names.
I like it but what would you call him for short? I don't like Art or Artie. And your other kids have nickname-y names.

Too many Williams.

Any other options?

I know it’s not helpful but I like both names.
I like it!
