So happy so far with our school and teachers. Thought I’d add something positive to the school conversation from a mom who was very nervous about hybrid remote learning. Honestly I’d be happy to have this every day.
I think that my downtown elementary is doing a good job so far as well. They were ready to open on the 21st, so even though I was pissed about the delay, I know it wasn't their fault. So the past few days of remote has basically taken after the schedule had they been in school (ie. 15 minute zoom followed by 30 minute writing assignment, 20 minute zoom followed by independent math work, P.E. zoom followed by lunch break, etc.) so they do need my help, but there isn't a lot of down time and they tried to stretch out the day so I'm happy.
Has to be either Anderson or PS 9. Those seem to be the only truly "together" schools on the UWS.
