At what age did your looks start going down? and if within the past year or two has it gotten even worse due to covid (ie- eating more, not maintaining self as much, less beauty treatments, etc)
I was never the hottest girl but I feel like I still look good in my 40s. Not so much b/c im so in shape or perfect (i'm not) but because my skin is still mostly unlined, my hair hasn't gone grey and I know how to dress my body.
I'm 43 and still fit and drink tons of water everyday so my skin and body look good, but in the past year I've developed horrible dark lines under my eyes and it definitely ages me. If I dare to wear makeup it helps, but I'm ultimately too lazy to wear it more than once every few months, so I guess I'll have to live with it. I've also started getting grey hairs right in front so this might be the beginning of the end for me and my looks hahaha!
Major downturn at 46. I think I looked great before then. I'm still slim and fit but everything has slid south, my eyes have huge bags under them (even after I get a good nights sleep), my hair is thinner and fully gray, and I just look OLDER.
Definitely after pregnancy. It wasn't necessarily weight gain (I lost the baby weight) but the weight just sits differently in a post-baby body. Like, where did this flabby ass come from???
This is the darkest part of winter and we are all indoors or covering our faces. Tell me a peel you lior, drugstore brand or online brand, and I’ll do it. But nothing will roll back whatever started mid 40s that signals “exiting reproductive age range.” I think it’s the softening jawline. Nora Ephross called a whole book “I Feel Bad About My Neck.”
It's all relative. I remember going to dinner in my early 30s thinking I looked young (and I did!!). Until some early 20 somethings came in. :)
I've been off and on heavy, esp post pregnancy, not "heavy" per se now but not at my low and feel out of shape and ashamed

43 and looking older bc of bags under eye. I go to sleep so late now!
honestly like 22. i was naturally super skinny growing up and had no idea how to eat healthy once my metabolism changed.

at what age in the 40’s is it essentially impossible to try to regain good looks?
