Who would you have preferred to see?
That's a lazy cop-out.
OP: I liked Bernie. That's it.
@Anonymous Bernie was a grifting loser who had 0 accomplishments in his decades of public services other than owning 3 houses off of donor funds and his wife siphoning money through media ad buys. He embraced russian propaganda that maligned hillary and helped give trump the election. He hired a bunch of grifting, sycophantic sexists and racists to run his campaign, ignored multiple allegations of sexual harassment. He is a rat fucker and anyone that can't see that by now doesn't have the intelligence to be voting. Fuck you, moron.
Tell us how you really feel.
No. This is not the time to have a tantrum because you wanted Bernie or whoever. I would prefer a different candidate too, but the bigger evil is Trump. He needs to go because if he gets another term, we may not get another chance to vote in ANY Dem candidate. Voting rights will be hacked away even more and the next election will be a foregone conclusion.
Vote for Biden now so that you have the chance to vote for a better progressive candidate later.
Please.
OP: I am listening to what you are saying- but none of this feels right at all to me.

@Anonymous You don't think Trump is a threat to democracy? Have you been seeing the voting restrictions cases the GOP is already bringing? Have you heard him getting the crowd to chant "twelve more years" as a "joke"?
You honestly think that another term for him to wreak havoc is not a bigger problem than a lacklustre dem candidate?
Sorry, I was trying to give you the benefit of the doubt, but now I really do think you're a troll.
I honestly don't blame you. Dems can't be surprised if they lose - Biden is just not a good candidate. They needed to run a campaign based on more than a puerile hatred of Trump and the desire to vote Trump out. The conversation is just about Trump, the same as in 2016. If all anyone is talking about is Trump, including how much they hate him, that means that there is nothing interesting to say about the opposing candidate. Biden is decent and experienced and knows how to govern, but we live in a post-decency political world right now. And I say this as a lib who is going to go do a hopeful vote for Biden anyway.
I totally disagree! I've heard **clear** policy from Biden, and nothing but "Dems are socialist" toddler name calling from Trump. What, at all, did we learn about Trump's platform last night?
Actually, I thought it was a pretty stark contrast on numerous policies: how to handle coronavirus, the environment, economic priorities, taxes, immigration, healthcare, and other issues. If you heard no policy contrasts at all, then maybe you were disinclined to hear them?
Thanks for your insight.
Come on. For the sake of the planet at least - and what we're leaving for our kids and grandkids.
