Barring some major new Covid development (eg a new variant that doesn't respond to vaccine), I think kids will go back full-time in the fall. There's a ton of political and social pressure to make it happen.
@anonymous In NYC public schools they can't really be socially distanced and full time - it's one or the other. I think they'll stop with the six-feet rule and only SD for things like big assemblies.
Things will improve -- people will get vaccinated, businesses will re-open, we'll have a functioning government -- and Trump will take credit for all of it.
@Anonymous I agree. Employees will seek more flexibility going forward and employers will be more likely to grant it--at least for people who are senior and can leverage it in a negotiation. That's not the same as keeping the office shut, though - for those that want to come in, and/or for junior people who need to be more closely supervised and trained, offices will re-open.
Same! One silver lining of the pandemic has been the lack of normal winter illness in my home. I do NOT miss endless months of runny noses, sneezing, stomach bugs, asthma...
Kids will be able to go back to school full-time in the fall (that's just my wishful thinking).

But they will still be socially distanced and in masks until there is a vaccine for kids, I think

Broadway will open in the fall
I think almost all offices will re-open in the fall.

Stock market crash
Bingo
Listen to this lady!
Why do you think it will crash?
I hope masks become part of our culture during winter seasons or when people are sick.
