Does not bode well. Now it looks like I will have to vote in person, although at least we have early voting, so I hopefully won't have to wait for hours.
@MidtownMom They printed the wrong names on the inner envelope so the name won't match the signature and it'll be thrown out when received. There was a story on NPR about it this morning.
This whole thing is a mess--despite checking multiple times, I never got my absentee ballot for the primary and was unable to vote. I've resigned myself to voting in person this time, the good news is there will be lots of polling sites, the bad news is we will be well into an uptick of corona by then.
They will be resending to all voters they believe received an incorrect one. If you want to notify them or for more info, email Apply4Absentee@boe.nyc or call 1-866-VOTE-NYC.
Thanks, I did notify them. Did not receive a response. Fingers crossed, but I'm really disappointed because it just adds fuel to the argument that the absentee ballots are a mess and it will end up disenfranchising a lot of people.
@BrooklynMom If possible, vote in person. I know it’s not feasible for some people, but that seems the safest option. I had originally planned to vote by mail but now I’m determined to go vote in person early.
what makes it bad?
Yeah, I would like to know also. I haven't been keeping up.

Vote in person if you can.The tally of in person votes is the only way Trump won't win in the Supreme Court.
