isn't the second dose 3 or 4 weeks after the first one? why are you getting it earlier?
i mean i've had both and almost 14 days ago (so just about to be considered fully vaccinated)
Sorry. Get a test and see. At least your chances of getting really sick are slim to none. And it very well could be something else. DD got strep throat late last year and gave it to me too. I have no idea how she was able to get step throat with all of the precautions as school, etc. but she did. She also had another virus a few weeks ago that gave her a fever and a soar throat, but she tested negative for both strep and covid.
OP: thank you. I"m getting a test tomorrow. It really feels like the common cold but I have not been anywhere that seems remotely risky and always have a mask on and wash hands/etc. No one in my household is sick. After all of this time getting COVID now would seem really crazy but I'm not sure what else it could be.
@Anonymous Post back and let us know when you get results!
Could it be allergies? It's probably not covid but take a test to ease your mind.
Feel better! They can still give you the second dose if you are sick, correct?
I also had fever 11 days after the second shot. Not sure what is going on. It went away on its own the next day.
OP: so i received a negative PCR test! But still feel like I have a cold. I have no idea how I could have gotten it but am happy for the negative test. Just puzzling that even with masks, constant sanitizing and not having been anywhere inside I can still get a cold.
So happy to hear it! It could be allergies. Feel better soon!
