I've gained weight over the past few months. I've decided to finally do something about it, so I'm trying to eat healthier meals and exercise. At the same time, my husband has made a habit of bringing home desserts and sweets -- cookies, cupcakes, croissants, etc. All things he knows I love. I've repeatedly asked him to stop but he claims he is doing it for the kids and that I just don't have to eat it if I don't want to. Okay, the problem with this strategy is that he'll bring home 5 cupcakes, more than my kids could or should eat in one sitting, so we are left with plenty left over. I'm struggling to understand what is going on here? I've been clear about my weight goals and my husband continues to undermine me.
