SO, for instance, today yesterday's percentage is 1.41% (not 1.93). Today's results per NYC DOH site is 3.25%. But NY state numbers, which are uch more transparent, are 1.3% for NYC.
its been tied to a few neighborhoods/zip codes, if you read the coverage-- areas where people live and worship very close together and in relatively large groups and are not, for a variety of reasons, wearing masks or social distancing. the city is talking abut cracking down but we'll see if 1. it happens and 2. it has enough of an effect.
