My almost 8 year old daughter has grown up so much this past year. She basically had to fend for herself while I worked remotely. Her room makes me sad. It's filled with dolls and toys she doesn't play with anymore. Instead she plays Roblox and video chats with her friends. She could barely type when the pandemic started, but now all her activities are centered around a computer. She's recently found Google and I can't keep her off it. I'm proud of how savvy she's become, but it happened so fast. I feel like she's been cheated out of her childhood somehow. Would I be feeling this way under normal circumstances? Is anyone else worried about the effects of all this screen time?
