Are you ladies taking your dc to dentist for routine cleaning? My dc wants braces and I scheduled an appointment for her. Dh thinks I shouldn’t take her. Thoughts?
Yes. Took them for cleanings in June, and back every month for braces maintenance. They are scrupulously careful - everyone in the office is double-masked. I think the dentist are the ones at high risk and hope they are early in line for the vaccine!
Yeah. I did the standard dentist and doctors appointments. I take precautions, wear a mask everywhere, but I’m not stopping everything due to fear of the virus. Dcs are in school and also play in the park with other kids daily.
Yes, my kid also needs braces and I am taking her. For her treatment, there is a time element -- some teeth need to be pulled so others come in properly -- and so treatment shouldn't be put off.
I just went for a cleaning and it was fine. Masks and shields, gowns and gloves, and an air cleaner in every exam room. Cleaning between every patient. No one in the waiting room. Way more precautions than at dr's offices.

Why not go? Dental health is critical, and if a kid needs braces you need to take care of that in time. Your DH is making no sense!
We’re taking kids for braces but I’m desperate for a teeth cleaning but won’t take any chances
I took DS twice for adjusting braces over summer and fall but won't be taking over next few months as I don't want to take a chance

Yes, kids have gone to the dentist and orthodontist. DH and I have been to the dentist also. I think it's fine.
We have done it and will continue.

Of course - we all go for cleanings, check ups.
