Do you relentlessly throw out older clothes when you buy new ones? I don’t have the space to keep everything but also feel bad about throwing out things that are in good condition but just not trendy anymore.
I don’t have a lot of closet space so yes, I tend to be too “good” about purging stuff and down the line I’ll sometimes wish I had kept a certain jacket, etc.
This. I donate a lot (love the word "aggressively" for this!) We have a bin going of giveaways at all times, and make monthly trips to goodwill. I'm also on my neighborhood freecycle group, and offer up something several times a month.
OP. I didn’t mean literally throw away, of course we donate. My question was whether remove things from your closet, such as throwing it in the garbage, use as cleaning rag or donate if in good condition. I think I keep too much stuff.
Don't feel bad about removing stuff. Too many things just clutter your life. I I try not to buy clothes I won't be wearing in 5 years, but if I have some sittting in my closet forever I just donate/recycle. Same with DCs clothes.

I don't throw anything out, unless it's beyond wearable. But we do donate aggressively to keep unused or outgrown items from accumulating.

One in, one out. With everything clothes, shoes, toys, books
I held on to too much for too long, so now I strive for two to one, or even three to one.
