Having a hard day, looking for something to lift the spirits. There was a UB thread of adorable dc stories that kept me smiling for days. Can we start a new one here? TIA
I have two DCs. My older one is at sleep away camp and my younger one has decided to "adopt" the older DC's stuff animal from years ago. He tucks it in at night and makes sure it's entertained during the day. It's funny because my younger DC is usually very serious and earnest and has never played with stuffed animals. I guess he really misses his older brother!
Few years back DS wanted to have a birthday party for his stuffies. We baked a cake and gathered all his stuffies around for a party. This is one of the loveliest memories that still cheers me up. Hang in there OP! Thank you for this thread, having a tough time these past few days myself.
this is an old one (the child in question is in college now) but when he was about six, I told my DS i loved him, and he turned to me with a somewhat impatient face and said "I'm aware."

Haha!
My DCs go to a Catholic school. When DD says her prayers, she says, "In the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spearmint."
