Yeah, that's a depressing title. But I've gained the Covid 19 and I was already not tiny. Any recommendations for a tankini or some sort of suit that will give me some support upstairs? I definitely want to take off at least 30 pounds. But that's not gonna happen quickly, so I'd love a suit that can help me get through the next two months. Totally happy to buy something off amazon or target. No need to invest in this current figure. Thanks ladies.

I have no advice for top-heavy (A cup here) but I ordered a bunch of Old Navy suits a while ago and they were better than I thought. And cheap!
Tankinis are not flattering on me, even though everything is covered i still look big and lumpy. I got these rash guards, can wear a sports bra or swim bikini top underneath. Both come in diff colors/patterns, look great with any bottoms. I think a sporty look helps - coverage and support but not frumpy.
I like some of the miracle suits with underwire. Not too expensive. Some are frumpy but not all.
Maybe Lands End is not as frumpy as it used to be or maybe I am so frumpy I don’t notice anymore. Actually, I do: Some of their stuff is unwearable in the city. But lots of the suits are good for this exact question. Tops are by size and cup size, many in unusual cup sizes and combinations, and bottoms are sized and chosen separately. There are lots of cuts, and whatever’s left should be on sale this time of year. Also cover ups, rashguards, whatnot. It’s definitely worth not hating your swimsuit. That goes a long way.
This suit from Athleta is flattering and supportive, although the hooks unsnap sometimes when I’m getting it on, which is annoying since I usually need someone to hook them for me. I’m 5’4”, 135 and a 36DD and got the small and it compresses and holds everything in.

This is really cute, but is it really keeping your boobs in? I am a 34DDD and not sure this would do it. The description says "Light support for A-C cup with a mid-coverage neckline". Would love to hear your feedback because this is a really nice suit.
I was definitely skeptical at first since I usually wear super supportive underwire bras. It has built in soft cups and an elastic band on the inside similar to a sports bra so it holds things in. Maybe try getting it in a size smaller than you normally would (I would ordinarily have gone for a medium but the small fits really well). Oh, and the annoying straps that become undone when I'm getting it on can be criss crossed in the back (which is how I wear it) so that also helps lift and compress.
I'm right there with you. Was already heavy and COVID hasn't helped the situation. I have a couple of Lands End suits that work for me. I also ordered a couple from summersault and I like them.
Lands End is the way to go. They are having a big sale right now, and you can return easily. They have DD cup suits.
Lands End two piece square neck top tankini.

Have you looked at ASOS? They have a fuller bust collection - the only one pieces that I have found that you can order by bust size. I have ordered at least 7 new suits from there (for the vacation that never happened in late March)
