Like other people, my gums sometimes bleed a bit when I floss (or when at the dentist for cleaning). I also started wearing aligners last month (although not very good at keeping them in for 20+ hrs).
yesterday in the afternoon, for no reason, I noticed that the internal gum between my 2 front teeth was bleeding (I was not wearing the aligners) I rinsed w water and it still bled briefly.
this morning upon waking and removing aligners, I noticed that the same spot started bleeding again. It stopped now, I just finished brushing.... I am a bit worried, should I be calling the dentist for this? I did not want to wear aligners now (51) but apparently my dentist recommended because a few teeth in the front are getting too close together (overlapping slightly) and he believes in 6-7 months should be corrected.
If any dentist here or anyone who experienced a similar thing could give their feedback I would truly appreciate it. Thanks.
