Hi all, I was asked by the exec director of a smallish NYC nonprofit to join the board. He said they had 'several' board positions (it's an expansive board). They had just approved a prior member. I spent several hours with him learning about the organization. I let him know I was able to meet both the time and financial requirements. He gave me the board email and all forms to send in. I did and it was a long task. He said in person that he was excited to have read my application. Fast forward three weeks -- radio silence from the board. Do I reach out and ask? Or is their radio silence my rejection? Anyone know how this works?
