Just finished going through the NYtimes gift guide. Got a few ideas but seems like all the usual stuff. Any cool gift ideas for kids - any age? Or gift/ food items to ship to relatives you won’t be seeing in person?
I got my parents one of those skylight digital picture frames. I can email photos of the grandkids direct to the frame and send regular updates. Its good since we arent seeing them.
I'm going to get my teen a telescope. DH is getting me (us) a Peloton--not offensive, I asked for one. DD is getting a crazy fancy dollhouse from England. Not sure what to get the middle child. He's sporty, so maybe one of the soccer balls that connects to the TV. I might get a portable fire pit for DH. I want things that will provide calorie-free during the second lockdown.
Oprah list is available now too
Thanks! Will look.
I was thinking of getting my parents one of those cheese of the month memberships.
support local!! etsy or if you need to go more mainstream, check out the Metropolitan museum of art store or museum of natural history
I work at the Met ❤️❤️❤️
Nymag and wirecutter both usually find some good stuff, I think?
Thanks I’ll check out nymag. I think the Times relies on wire cutter quite a bit.
