I was just reflecting on how so many of our internal office procedures have been streamlined and improved with COVID. It gave us the kick in the butt to do things better. There also have been tremendous advances in our understanding and treatment of viruses during this time. I wonder what type of long term benefits we'll see from this time.
I think mask wearing from now on will be commonplace.
+1 I don't think mask wearing is going anywhere. We will be doing that - at least during winter - for many years to come.
Interesting. Like it will become a cultural norm?
I hope so. Long term can help with Flu which has high #s of death annually.
@Anonymous as it already is the norm in several asian countries (partially for pollution reasons, but also for virus transmission reasons)
I think so. I bet flu rates go down this winter because everyone will be wearing masks in NYC. It is now socially acceptable and demanded to wear masks so once people see benefits, why not wear them during flu season after Covid is under control.
