@Anon Just in Lincoln Square area: Loews at 68th/Broadway, Starbucks at 67th/Columbus, Gracious Home at 67th/Broadway, C21 at 66th/Broadway, FontaineBleu Nails on 66th/Amsterdam, Ed's Chowder House at 64th/Broadway, American Kennel Club on 72nd/Columbus, Recolte at 74th/Amsterdam. This is all just off the top of my head.
I was thinking about how after 9/11 if you visted the area Century 21 was open right next to the giant construction site that is now so built up. It's almost like the reverse now. (I'm not saying it's equivalent, just observing that one is open while the other is closed!)
I don't care about losing C21, but I really hope they find something else to put there so we don't have another huge empty retail space!
Former NYer: what are some of the big empty spaces? Keeping hearing about what wha gone?

@Anon In my midtown east neighborhood, there are several stores and restaurants closed. :-(
