I'm trying to find appts for 2 elderly relatives that don't even own a cell phone no less a computer. Having no luck. Anyone have any tips for the best time of the day I should be looking for appointments?
I have seen on several forums that appointments are released at midnight for NYC schedulers, on vaccinepod for sure. Cancellations and such free up times.
NYC is such a mess. I have family and friends in other states who had no problem -- just made the appointment, were taken on time, and out the door in 15 minutes. Here, even if you get an appointment, you could end up waiting on line in the freezing cold for hours, and they might not give you an appointment for the second dose.
I actually made appts for lots of family members already without issue. All of them got their second dose scheduled at the same time as their first (although who knows if the shots will be available when that day comes) Today was the only day I had an issue but I did end up getting an appt. in the end. I don't know why they can't put all the appts all on one site but I guess I'm not shocked considering how the federal gov is such a mess with virtually unlimited funds.
