Does anyone have a close friend who thinks about risk regarding Covid in a completely different way? Has this affected your relationship? How do you navigate especially when they think they are right and you are crazy?
Yes. She had locked down her whole family (kids are my kids age). I don’t see her and every text she sends me just aggravates me. I think she is depressed and sends jabs through text. Doing the slow fade
Think of all the pain they are going through being stuck at home for 6+ months, that's 24/7 non-stop. If you cannot keep your distance from them, be a little more patient. You are not living their life, you are just listening to them bitching about why you can / shouldn't have a more 'normal' life.
I have a close friend like this, and I just say, “...everyone has their different thresholds about how to manage this, and we are all still figuring it out...”
It's just a friend, not your spouse. Just talk about other things - you don't live together so each of you gets to live their lives the way they want to. Not understanding why this is a problem?
Yes, several and they've definitely distanced themselves. I'm trying to give them space and respect their decisions, as I hope they are respecting mine. It's hard.

No, not at all. I would fade someone like that.
