Our DCs are likely going to have some in-person instruction (1 week in school, 2 at home).
Our district has released the general plan, but not the details. I know that we need to take temps before school (so just bought a better instant scan thermometer) and masks (not required, but encouraged for their ages). I'm hearing other areas talk about "no backpacks/reusable lunch containers" so am buying paper lunch bags---assuming will need to use these regularly. What are some other basic items that you are getting/being asked to get? I'd rather try and buy early before there is a mass rush/panic buying hits.
I just saw a mom on another forum post that they are STILL having to buy hand sanitizer and wipes for the classroom. I mean...where the heck are we even supposed to get those? Now I imagine every family buying up all the wipes and hand sanitizer again...

We haven't heard anything from school yet, but I keep wondering if I should start buying uniforms. I'm also thinking to get better computers for the kids, and more equipment if I'm going to WFH into next year.
