I'm planning to send DC to her camp in Maine this summer. It was open last summer for a short session and they were careful about masking and keeping cabins separated. We didn't send DC last year and I regretted it because they did a great job. Instead of asking for my deposit back last summer, I rolled it over to next summer. So yes, I will send DC as long as the camp is allowed to open.
My kids are going and I'm confident that their camp will open because they went this past summer. The camp did an outstanding job. Hopefully, the camps that successfully opened this past summer will share best practices so more camps can reopen safely.

My kids are still young, but I work as a doctor at a girl’s camp in Maine for a week in the summer. I’m not holding my breath.
Camp is saying they will open, plan TBD depending on guidelines/vaccines. If they're open DC will go.
Camps will open. They can't afford not to -- most of them would close permanently after 2 summers of no income.
Ours didn’t have no income. They invited individual families to reserve cabins for a week.
@Anonymous That was smart.

ditto. ours opened last summer in Maine and kids went. No reason to think this summer will be any different.
